Men and the World will Convulse with Lusts without Women

To add the flavors, I considered a woman especially my beloved one as:

The flower of my eyes - bulaklak ng aking mata
The light of my home - ilaw ng aking tahanan
The pulse of my heart - pintig ng aking puso
The smile of my lips - ngiti ng aking labi
The cry of my lusts - sigaw ng aking pangungulila
My dream star - pangarap kong bituin
My miracle medicine - gamot sa t’wing ako’y nanghihina
The bed of my burning love - kanlungan ng nag-aapoy kong pag-ibig
And my delicious coffee and pie in the morning- panulak at pantulak ko sa bawat umaga.

But guys don’t get me wronged: Women are not hot commodities for men great desire for fun and sexual satisfaction: Women should not be treated like this. They would not be abused either. They are human beings who need respect, compassion and love. Without them men are lonely and the world would become a dead darkened room for men to roam around.

In the Bible - Eve was taken out from Adam’s ribs and after they made love the civilization of men and women started and at that time the women were being controlled by men.

Nowadays women can do most of the things that men do most of themselves. Women are competing now with men in all the fields of endeavors: from politics down to janitorial jobs, from fashions, entertainments and other professions. Women could be good leaders too for a nation.

In the Philippines we already produced two women presidents, and in the Senate and Congress the women are participating actively in the making of laws of the land and in propagating governmental projects throughout the countryside. I honestly salute them. And that they deserve my respect and love!

Salamat naman Sangkay Gimboy at pinaunlakan ni Jing ang imbitasyon ninyo sa kanya. I’m happy for her na makakasama na natin siya.

Para sa iyo Jing isang mainit na welcome. Ang una kong hihilingin sa iyo ay isang tula written in our own dialect/language “waray-waray”. Sa totoo lang I tried many times to write a waray-waray poem though hirap akong magkumpuni.

So enjoy with your stay…

God speed…All the best!

Oh my God! Jim, I'm SO embarrassed!  (Jimboy pod oyy, na-owaw jud ko.. Mag-lisud jud ko diri kay di ko kama-o mag-tinagalog.. Mahurot jud akong ininglis diri.. huhuhu..)

Thanks, Paul! True, I write poems, but I really don't think I'm a good poet. (I'm so embarrassed) I don't know what's wrong with Jimboy! (heheh)
I don't speak waray-waray. The Batohanons, like most Leytenos, speak the VISAYAN / CEBUANO dialect. In Leyte, WARAY is spoken only in the eastern part of the island.

I have some "balak" or visayan poems, but I wonder if ma-iintindihan mo. Tama ba ang tagalog ko? (Jim, unsa na ni oyy! heheh..mura man jud ko gitikon mag-tagalog.. heheh)

It's just OK Jing. There's nothing to "owaw jud" here. Just go ahead tama ang tag-alog ninyo. Just think at tanggapin n'yo na we are here as one family...English, Tag-log, Visayan/Cebu, Ilokano, Elonggo and other dialects/languages spoken by Filipinos are welcome. Hintayin namin yong "balak" and your other pieces.

Heheh! You almost got it right! Okay, Paul, it looks like i'll be forced (heeh!) to translate that in tagalog.. Ehemm.. ehemm..
Well, tama yung translation mo, maliban sa last part..
"Mura man jud ko gitikon magtagalog!"  =  "Parang kini-kiliti talaga ako tuwing akoy magsalita ng tagalog" (yay!) Hehheh! ( I swear, i had a hard time thinking kung ano ang tagalog word for "gitikon" , and i had rephrased that sentence many times over.. Still, I'm not sure if it's "nagsalita" or nagsasalita" or "magsasalita".. hahah!)

Okay. Susubukan kong hindi ma "owaw jud" .
