Spending Time with the Lord

Jesus chooses to spend time with His disciples to bring them closer to his mind and heart, and to prepare them to one day multiply and build his Kingdom. Christ shows us by his example that it is important to spend time with whom we have a responsibility. The Christian first of all has to spend time with Christ, to listen to him and to let him change our way of thinking, making it more like his.

We share in the responsibility for the salvation of others even though it is they who must make the decision to follow Christ or not.
